WalletHub ranks states by how overweight residents are

WASHINGTON - Missouri is on a top 10 it doesn't want to be on. The Show-Me State ranked 10th on the most overweight and obese states in America, according to the website WalletHub.

The website looked at several metrics, including the number of overweight and obese adults and children in states, as well as cholesterol and diabetes numbers.

As for other states in our listening area, Iowa ranked 11th on the list, while Kansas ranked 19th, and Nebraska came in at 40th. WalletHub found that the fattest state is West Virginia.
